Dr. J. Hunter Hicklin,DMD

Dr. Hicklin is an upstate native, grew up in Spartanburg, and graduated from Furman University with a BS in Biology in 2005. He enjoys living in Greenville SC and felt there was no better place to plant his roots and his practice.

Dr. Hicklin graduated a Doctor in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina Dental School in 2009, and completed an additional year of General Practice residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. During his residency, he acquired an expanded knowledge of many dental procedures and became uniquely qualified to treat medically complex patients. He continues his education through the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the South Carolina Dental Association. Dr. Hicklin says, “For me, dentistry doesn’t feel like work-I can’t imagine doing anything else. I enjoy the variety of procedures and especially getting to know my patients!”

In his leisure time, Dr. Hicklin can be found spending time with his wife, Anna Louise, their children Mary Joyce, Sanford, and Wesley, and his Boykin Spaniel named Lady. He loves time in the outdoors, running, biking, hunting, and kayaking.

Dr. Allison Caldwell,DMD

Dr. Caldwell grew up in Spartanburg, SC. In fact, she and Dr. Hicklin grew up right down the road from one another! She attended Clemson University for undergrad and then went on to the Medical University of South Carolina to earn her DMD. She has been practicing in the upstate ever since graduating in 2013.

Dr. Caldwell has a passion for helping others feel confident in their smiles, and enjoys practicing all facets of general dentistry in order to help patients achieve their optimal oral health goals. When she’s not practicing dentistry, she is busy taking care of her wonderful family, which includes her husband, David, and their three beautiful daughters.

OFFICE MANAGER
Leah graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with her bachelor’s degree in Business Communications. She is committed to making sure your experience at Reedy River Dentistry is great from start to finish. Leah is very knowledgeable when discussing treatment plan options, insurance, scheduling, and all financial considerations revolving around your optimal dental care. Leah enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and being active outdoors.
Faith

DENTAL ASSISTANT
Upon graduating from the dental assisting program, Faith quickly became passionate about all aspects of dentistry. She finds value in educating patients about their individual dental needs. The most rewarding part of her job is comforting her patients and helping them feel safe. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking and spending time with her family in Georgia.
Abigail

DENTAL HYGENIST
Abigail delivers exceptional preventive and therapeutic care, combining advanced clinical knowledge with a meticulous attention to detail that consistently elevates the quality of her work. She takes a thorough, patient-centered approach and is passionate about educating her patients and believes in working collaboratively with them to achieve optimal oral health. Committed to excellence, Abigail actively pursues continuing education and stays current with the latest advancements in oral care products. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her husband, staying active in the gym, local coffee shops and exploring new adventures.
Cassidy

DENTAL HYGENIST
Cassidy graduated with honors from the dental hygiene program. She truly enjoys building lasting relationships with patients to help them feel comfortable about their oral health and dental treatment. She is passionate about continuing dental education classes to help stay current in the field. Cassidy and her husband love traveling, hiking, biking, and most outdoor activities. She loves spoiling her Corgis, Colby Jack and Ava, and enjoys taking them on all their outdoor adventures.
Gracie

DENTAL ASSISTANT
Gracie plays a vital role as a dental assistant by providing skilled support across a wide range of procedures while helping ensure efficient workflows, patient comfort, and high-quality clinical care. She has a strong interest in partials and dentures, recognizing their essential role in restoring oral function, improving aesthetics, and enhancing overall oral health. Gracie is very attentive to the patient and works to create a calm, supportive experience. Outside of the office, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with family.
